Fire damage does no additional damage over time. However, Corpus Crewman, Grineer, and Infested enemies hit by fire damage have a high chance to either break out of cover or stop moving to try and put out the flames. In both instances, this makes them more vulnerable to additional damage from ranged weapons, or consecutive melee strikes.
Innate Fire Weapons
- Heat Dagger: Deals fire damage rather than normal damage with its jump attack.
- Heat Sword: Deals fire damage rather than normal damage with its jump attack.
- Dual Heat Swords: Deals fire damage rather than normal damage with its jump attack.
